Aetheria Partners sharpens its leadership for the next phase

The Board of Aetheria Partners has made three leadership appointments as the company moves from building the stack to scaling it with customers.
Mats Plahn becomes CEO. He has scaled several companies before and has deep experience building organisations that deliver in regulated markets. His appointment also strengthens the company's physical presence in Sweden, where a large share of near-term growth sits.
Mats Lundqvist becomes CTO. He has advised on Aetheria's technical direction since the company started. Demand on operations has grown quickly, and he now takes that work on full time.
Troels Vognsen moves to Head of New Growth and Strategic Partnerships. After leading the company through its founding phase, he will focus on partner networks across the Nordics and Europe, and on the markets the company wants to be in next.
The founding team is unchanged, and so is the strategy: a vertically integrated, sovereign AI stack for European enterprises that operate under real regulatory constraints. The Board is making the change now to build more pipeline, a stronger presence on the ground in Sweden, and a larger share of revenue coming through partners.
The changes take effect on Monday 7 September 2026.
