PRESS RELEASE
Aetheria Partners and Sigma Technology partner to make sovereign AI deployable for regulated European organisations
STOCKHOLM ·
Aetheria Partners AB and Sigma Technology have entered a strategic partnership covering joint go-to-market and delivery of sovereign AI infrastructure for regulated organisations in the Nordics and across Europe.
The partnership pairs Aetheria Partners' sovereign AI stack — compute that remains under European control, together with the orchestration and compliance layer that makes it usable inside regulated environments — with Sigma Technology's engineering organisation and its established position inside customer operations in energy, finance, healthcare and critical infrastructure.
Why now
European organisations in regulated sectors have largely worked through a first wave of AI adoption: assistants, copilots and pilots running on hyperscaler infrastructure. That wave stops at office productivity. Extending AI into core operations raises a harder question, because it means placing operational data in environments the organisation does not ultimately control — a question that regulation, procurement and boards are all now asking in the same terms.
The constraint has rarely been appetite. It has been that a credible alternative did not exist in a form an organisation could actually buy, deploy and run. Aetheria Partners was founded to build that alternative. Sigma Technology brings the delivery capacity and customer proximity that turns infrastructure into something in production.
What the partnership covers
- Joint go-to-market towards regulated organisations in the Nordics and wider European markets.
- Delivery of Aetheria Partners' sovereign AI stack by Sigma Technology's engineering teams, including integration into existing customer estates.
- Industry-specific AI agents built for the operational realities of the sector in question, rather than general-purpose assistants.
- Continuity after go-live: the operating, support and development model that keeps deployments running.
“We built the compute and the control layer so AI runs inside the customer's own perimeter, on their data, under their rules. Sigma Technology builds the agents that run on top of it, in operations they already know.”
“The demand for sovereign AI is growing rapidly across Europe. Organizations need solutions that align with regulatory requirements while remaining practical to deploy and operate. Together with Aetheria Partners, we can combine technology, engineering expertise, and local presence to help customers move from experimentation to production.”
